Overview and Benefits

The Vielight Neuro-Vagus Combo is a dual-modality photobiomodulation (PBM) system designed to enhance brain and systemic health. It combines the Vielight Neuro (brain stimulation) and Vagus (vagus nerve stimulation) devices, delivering near-infrared (NIR) light to the brain and vagus nerve. The Neuro device utilises a headset with multiple LEDs to stimulate the brain, while the Vagus device employs an intranasal applicator to target the vagus nerve. This combination aims to improve cognitive function, mood regulation, and overall well-being by enhancing cellular energy production and reducing inflammation. The Neuro device and be used without the Vagus device but the Vagus device can only be used in combination with the Neuro device. The system is particularly beneficial for individuals with neurodegenerative conditions, brain injuries, or those seeking to optimise brain performance. Users have reported improvements in memory, focus, and emotional balance with regular use.

Vielight’s photobiomodulation (PBM) devices are emerging as promising tools in neurological rehabilitation. These devices use near-infrared light to gently stimulate brain function and support healing processes. In concussion rehabilitation, PBM has shown encouraging results. A notable case study with lingering post-concussion symptoms demonstrated significant improvements in brain function, blood flow, and symptom relief after 8 weeks use of Vielight devices. Brain imaging and cognitive testing supported these outcomes, suggesting strong potential for PBM in aiding brain recovery. PBM therapy has also shown promise in studies focused on conditions like Alzheimer’s and post-COVID cognitive challenges. With a growing body of supportive research and a strong safety profile, Vielight devices offer a non-invasive and innovative approach to rehabilitation for those recovering from brain injuries.
